Description

We recently moved to a Belleville, IL, and I have an entirely new venue for photography. You may have noticed a few new uploads after a long dry spell. Today I took a walk "downtown" (we actually live 6 blocks from town center). I have seen this very old dog on a chain out side of this even older building and often accompanied by and old man. However, I always see them as I drive by. Today I walked and took this shot from the opposite side of the street. On my way back later, the old dog saw me coming and retired into the doorway and warily watched me until I had passed. Wise old dog to be cautious of strangers... and not bark. Something about his dog tugs at my heart. I must find out what his (or her) name is.

I love it - the life of the photo is this dog. I do love dogs and I have two. Thank you for this photo.

I like it too. The dog looks great against the grey building.
