It began with a Freebie ... GORT ...
Spaceship made with Bryce-6, Soldiers and People made with Poser-6. All Vehicles are Freebies textured with Bryce-6. The TV-Car is a Combination, made with Bryce, of the Ambulance Car and a Ford Pick Up Truck Mesh ... i had nothing else ;-)

Nicely done image, the only thing you may change would be the ramp. The ramp did not have a step, it was smooth and flat but angled as you are showing. Everything eles looks spot on. Well done! Cheers, David

...ohh wow. This is an incredible recreation from one of my all time favourite films. I saw the film in the theatre when I was a kid and was in total awe (and fear) of Gort. Even with all the special effects and CGI in films today, the original "Day" still holds up very well. Thank you. Would love to see it in grayscale.
