Description

I noticed the metallic luster of this particular coin, being a 2008 mint, so I thought I should macro it. See, the penny does have a use after all! 'I heard Obama wants to abolish the penny' 'But doesn't he love change?' Please enjoy and comment!

Abolish the penny? LOL.. Not gonna happen. Although I did read on the US mint site that that reverse of the penny is changing next year. They plan to release 4 new backs on it this year for the Lincoln Anni. Then change the back of it forever coming next year. Nice shot.. I have been going through my pennys and trying to get from the 60s through now in order. Just because I am weird like that..lol Cool shot man.

it's actually copper and zinc, but not alloyed together (unless they've changed things since the early 80s...;) Denver mint...good photography.
