Ha, my last render was posted on June 22, 2008. It's been almost half a year! This is my first Vue render--Got Vue Infinite 7 for a whopping $99 (yay for academic discount)! I can't help but love this program, but I probably would love it even more if I actually know how to use the program more proficiently. With its fast rendering engine, it takes the pain out of test rendering and light/shader tweaking. You can see the result within seconds... but of course, if you want anything crisp, it still has to take its time. This one took almost 7 hours to finish rendering. Carrara (my old program) takes about the same time to produce this kind of quality, however, the tweaking process is a lot more tedious, simply because it takes longer to render anything with indirect lighting, even with extremely low settings.
