Description
The imperial 10th fleet pays a port of call to the Cloud Cities of Destin IV. In the far reaches of the Rim Worlds, local governments sometimes forget to forwards their proper tithes and tributes to the Core. They tend to remember quickly when the skies are filled with Imperial Battleships and Assassin Interceptors.
Destin IV is an unusual world in that it's atmosphere is only tolerable to humans at the tops of it's mountain peaks. It's 800 million inhabitants are crowded densely on the the few suitable peaks. The world is rich in minerals and rare volatiles which are mined and harvested remotely by workers commuting by telepresence to machines on the surface.
