Description

This is the next to the last bridge before the Washougal River empties into the Columbia River. The shore that you see will be completely covered by the river come winter-time and it will be moving very quickly and it will be a turbulent green. Thank you for your comments on my last posting! I really appreciate them. This picture is dedicated to the child within us all. May you never deny your child some fun in life!

seeing the water low like this makes you wonder what a time laps camera would show you of how the bridge was made and throught the years what the water level did.

Oooh! Another lovely river view! We have a little creeklet that runs through the Hollow, and it's barely there through a drier summer, but when it's a rainy summer, it gets REALLY high!! So I can truly visualize this calm, sedate little river becoming a roiling torrent in the winter. The problem of letting the inner child out to play isn't a problem at all. The problem is letting the adult person get out, LOL!!!

Excellent shot here Mike..reminds me of a place I use to fish at...even with low water like this you could still find some of the deep holes to fish... lot of fun.. very peaceful look and some OLD FISHING MEMORIES to this Image...well done!!!
