This is my first render in Poser. Just learning and would appreciate any suggestions.

you failed on one count...your first render is supposed to be a shiny orb of some kine.. WAIT !!! that's for Bryce. What can I say that hasn't been said? Very good for the first one, even for a third or fourth try :) The background fits right in, doesn't look like a billboard or snything. Perhaps a bit of tear in her eyes...not that easy to do. I'm into near realism a bit, so to me the woman looks a bit toony, but thats all in what I like, not what you created. I can see this as a book cover. Looks as good or better as a lot I've seen. Keep up the great work. You set the bar pretty high for yourself :)
