Description

This dress was a "day off" project, I needed a break from a certain very difficult modeling problem I've been stuck on for a couple of weeks. Dress was modeled from scratch in Cinema 4D and then simulated as dynamic in Poser. It is a lot like the dress I modeled a while back for Irina (structurally it's almost identical). 12224 polyogons. Extensive details on how the dress was modeled can be found in this thread. Guess what! Poser 7 SR3 screwed up the Cloth Room! This turned my "Day Off" project into a "Wow, Poser Sucks Ass" project. I am likely gonna keep my distance from the cloth room as much as possible, very frustrating. Gillian is DAZ V4, custom tex by me and JJRoland, some on-the-spot morph dial spins; hair is Glamour Hair by Lisbeth (no longer listed here at Rendo it seems); panty modeled and rigged by me, available in my freebies. Rendered in Poser 7, blah blah blah settings raytrace etc IBL yadda. Minimal postwork (a little blur) Update: Approved in my Freestuff. Enjoy :) Enjoy, feedback welcome :)

Simple lines but elegant looking dress! I really like it as a whole, but in the third image almost all along her left side edge you can see the mesh triangles. Maybe not sufficient resolution of the mesh? I didnt upgrade to SR3, and now I'm glad:)
