Description
This Spitfire made an appearance at a local airshow last weekend. What a beautiful plane. Of all the planes there this to me looked like the one that would be the most fun to fly.

Excellent! Well done
What a great shot. Its a Griffon Engine model but I dont know which mark. But still, FAB shot. WELL DONE.
Excellent shot, kudos...
nice shot. as debbielove says, it looks like a later model with the Grffon engine. it appears to have a teardrop cockpit ? unfortuately airshow aircraft dont always appear in accurate paint jobs...
Excellent capture.
great shot!
Spitfires are always a pleasure to see, thanks for posting it.
Your image is very nice. 5+.
Great photography the ideal composition and beautifully captured
Oh ! the growl of a Merlin engine, this is a great capture.Probably a MKVI, as the Griffin needed a 5 blade prop, but I could be wrong.Still an excellent image.
The cannon, the bubble and the four-bladed prop allow 1940 to blare away in the slipstream without actually being present.
wow very impressive spitfire in flight capture!!!!!
Excellent catch!! Thx for sharing!
"Beautiful" is the perfect word for this late model Spitfire, and your excellent capture.
