Description

My boyfriend is always joking that the closest I could get to going goth would be going "bubble gum goth"(because I seem to have a very bright and upbeat personality). This is kinda the image that pops into my head whenever I think about it. I'm gonna try to dress up like this for Halloween sometime in the future (sans chainsaw), but I think I'll be giggling too much to really pull it off.:P **PLEASE FULL VIEW!!!*** There's a LOT of fine details (like the stockings) that you'll miss if you don't! As always, thank you for your views and I'd love to hear what you have to say! Credits and such: *(Freebie!) Gothic Lolita outfit - aoaio *(Freebie!) Idol shoes and stockings - Yamato/Isop *Aiko 3, Lily Hair, Sylph texture - DAZ *(Freebie!) Bubblegum & Chainsaw - adamthwaites/Digital Creations *(Freebie!) I don't know which was your intention - if you aimed on slightly-vintage look you made it well but for more realistic light you might want to take a look on that tutorial (http://www.aerysoul.com/board/showthread.php?t=2140 - and sorry if I already gave that link ^_^). I like the pose and composition, I really like a background and general color pattern. What you might want to reconsider is a golden buckle - try to balance it with some gold clips on hair, makeup, eye color or something similary small and golden on chainsaw. Overall a nice work :)

I was actually going for a more toon-like feel here.:) used some basic lights, postworked the image heavily (fixed up some minor joint/clothing issues too), then duplicated the image as a new layer and used the "sketch" filter to create a slightly textured look. (If you full veiw you can see this in the shadows and at the edges of the image) The gold hairclips and accents on the chainsaw are a good idea, I may have to re-work this at a later point!
