Description
This is a polished version of my mid-2005 artwork "Through A Looking Glass". You'll notice that around 50-60% of the image has changed. Some of the things I modified:
-a whole new planet, this time made using Lightwave 9.2 instead of Photoshop (and I think the results show)
-entirely new gazebo design and new character
-corrected depth of field
-lower-res palm trees replaced with hi-res ones
-hi-res jungle background, replacing the old crude Vue 4 render.
-painted wispy clouds
-...and various minor things (which took more time than you'd think )
Tech info:
-original resolution/filesize: 3200x3700px/180MB.psd(160 layers)
-LightWave 9.2 for everything
-Phostoshop CS2 for post work (assembling, painting blabla)
-Vue 5 Pro and XFrog 3.5 for vegetation
-no photos used, everything digitally created
