Description

I am back (sort of). I had an amazingly good time for a week on a cruise to celebrate our 25th anniversary, and a less enjoyable stay in the hospital for surgery, to remove some 'spare' parts. All went well and I'm in the process of recovery. Part of the recovery - this simple vue image. I cant do anything that lasts long or requires concentration but I'm so bored... As for the meaning - my brain isnt active enough for analysis yet, so your guess is as good as mine. I'll just say I like dragons, and I like this version of a dragon - it flies without wings:) Thanks for watching and for any comments you care to give!

Strange, surreal. Love the water. Looks somehow creepy. The flowers are a great touch. Gives the image a mystical touch.

Really unusual, and I love the grass growing on the bed! It almost seems if the whole scene is underwater, maybe it is the lighting. But then you have the water on bottom so everything else cant be under water? Or can it? Mysterious. Hope you have a speedy recovery.

The eastern Dragon of Dreams visit the Lazarus Heart where life blooms between the sea of desire and the High Heaven of inspiration. I've been there a time of two. Through the door of illness, you can get there. I don't really know why. I do thank you for showing me this! I feel nostalgic for this place, as with other places I've been to. Wonderful image.

Glad to hear that you are on the mend after the surgery. I think you have a very creative concept here, and it is beautifully done.

great to see you posting again! i hope you're doing well and resting even better. i wish i had your fearlessness regarding color. i've never dared to use so many different hues like that, and seeing this makes me realize how i censor myself. the palette makes me think of tibetan art. the dragon is a lighter blue than the healing buddha i've seen, but (for me) definitely reminiscent. i love the mattress of sand and the flowers in starkness. light in the right upper corner is oddly realistic. i keep automatically scrolling to check if i don't have a stray light reflecting on my screen.

Very original concept, I really like it. I have no idea what it means but that isnt important, the image is strong enough by itself, it doesnt need to be translated to words. The sky gives the impression of this scene being under water but then we see the water below and realize it cant be. That's a neat trick. :-)
