Seriously kool POV and amazing looking pines ! I've heard of Kauri forests in Western Australia, but I don't think they are pines, so are these from the forests of New Zealand ? the foliage also looks similar to the Queensland Bunya pines. Nice capture & ~Cheers~
Thank's all for the comments. These tree's are on the Atherton Tablelands in North Queensland, growing next to Lake Barrine. It looks like NZ spelling but I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to botany. I had a look on google, the one's in WA are Karri trees. Very tall eucalytus tree's. One has a fire lookout at the top which did a good job of scaring me when I climbed it. :) Cheers
