Description
Yeah OK,
Yet another long project that’s never going to get done.
This is the USS Randolph. A Revolutionary War frigate with a rather interesting history.
I’m still looking at possible paint schemes for it. And there are a few unanswered questions about what I’m going to do about the details on the transom and the gallery. But all that aside I like it so far.
I’m not 100% happy with Carrara 6.0. I don’t like the fact that Daz has taken away the isometric camera controls (at least I can’t figure them out) It does seem to be more stable.
Now if anyone knows how to get the best out of the lights let me know. I am hopelessly lost and can’t get images that are not washed out or lose detail due to not enough light.
Thanks for looking
PA

It looks like a very finely detailed model! My compliments on your skills! Bravo! She looks magnificent so far!
hmm can't help you with carrera only breifly used version 1.Looks good we have the Brig Niagara here in Erie.
WOW! You REALLY should finish this project!!!! There aren't enough decent ships out there and yours already looks so promising. For the isometric camera settigns - aren't they there in the properties tray on the right and then on the tab "effects"? I've checked it right now and there are settings for the cam like "physical properties"... Hope this is what you're looking for. And PLEASE, keep this up!!!!!!!!!!! Take care, ~Sassy~
Looks great so far! I've got a lot of unfinished models and projects too, but i hope you will finish this one.
