today is my b day! My 43rd to be pricise. To celebrate Ma nature is sending us the biggest snow storm of the year! Yeah!--
...and now onto today's render.
This took a whooping 14 hours to render yeasterday!
(have anyone any ideas as to why it takes so long?)

Happy B'day. Reflective surfaces, transparent objects, multiple light sources, soft shadows, IBL, render quality, etc... will increase render times.

Super modeling work, once again. The reflective surfaces are great. Agree with skiwillgee on things which will increase rendering time, plus the processing capabilities of your computer will also lengthen or shorten render time. Also, the original size of your render. Happy B'day to you and here in the East, we're also getting some of that snow.

I've found that if your renders aren't taking nearly forever then you aren't trying hard enough for that sense of realism,which you've achieved quite nicely!
