Description

Taking a break from the "Star" series. This is a still life that I did after I discovered a picture done by MKruczek entitled "Job's Lament". I was so impressed by the realism of that piece that I decided to duplicate it myself. my results were goog, but it still lacked something. Maybe it was the fact that I was using diffrent models for some of the elements of the picture, I dont know. Anyway, that was purely an experiment. Working with some of the same themes of that render, I composed my own orignal composition, incorporating some of the techniques that i learned from the experiment. I must say that I am very happy with the results! Here is a link to the original picture that started it all http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1612498 Thanks to everyone who enjoied my "Star" series so far. there is at least 3 more images to post from it. I will probally make a calendar available from it later this summer/fall. I am also working on a book of the best of my renders, also to be released later this year.

Another interesting and unique interpretation of the original post. The lighting, here, sets the mood perfectly. Don't know about the addition of the frog, tho, perhaps in a more subdued color sheme it would work, but that is a part of your idea for the render and I'm not going to suggest otherwise. Very great modeling.
