Description
I have love for creating backgrounds and architecture and what you see here is the legitimate love child. LOL The model was originally created by Moebius of Dystopia. I try to keep city simple because ultimately something is going to explode and/or I might apply a motion blur because of a cool sci-fi vehicle fly-by and/or I might use a depth-of-field effect to simulate a camera.
This scene as well as many other scenes in this gallery are part of an online comic book that I'm self-publishing. I will attend the NYC Comic-Con, Chicago Comic-Con and San Diego this year 2008. All 3D objects are produced in Carrara and exported as a line drawing. Then I add some Photoshop magic. Search for DuoComics anytime, anywhere. I will add credit to the vendors asap! I appreciate your patience and thanks for stopping by to check out my gallery! :-)

Now that's definitely a groovy look for good ol Dystopia!
terrific comic book art...great pov..this is awesome! 5+
Beautiful colors! I want to live there, except if stuff explodes? Wonderful city scene.
Very clean and clear rendition. I painted backgrounds for film animation back in the Eighties. Blocking out for the animation yet keeping the scene as engaging as possible was the challenging part. Good color transitions in this backdrop make for a nice mood.
Superb image! Excellent style! 5+
I can really see the toon edging and shader in this one excellent stuff
I've said it before, and I will say it again... these are simply fantastic! :o)
Love the look of the city and the cool colours. The strong contrast with the sky is a nice touch. Intriguing perspective as well.
A very original style! Interesting and totally professional! As an Adobe Illustrator lover, I enjoy it specially (I know that you did the 2D part in Photoshop however) Excellent!
Excellent .. would you mind to share your magic trips with Photoshop ?
