I love your church interior, my friend. You have done well to capture the detail. Lighting is usually a great problem in such tall narrow buildings. There is such great detail visible in this huge altarpiece. The ornaments over the side statues appears to be executed in a late Victorian style, but the altarpiece itself appears to be much later in design. It is all very impressive, but then Montreal has about 3.5m inhabitants. This , presumably cathedral, must cost an awful lot to heat during the winter. I do hope that your winter has not started yet. I viewed a program about Montreal's 'Ice Storm', and felt quite concerned for the inhabitants on that occasion. Warm regards, John.
