Happy New Year! It's been a while since I've uploaded -- it has been a really hectic end of '07 and beginning of '08! I now hope to have some time to catch up on all the posts I've missed. Last November, Rykk and I took a couple of mini-vacations to Sanibel. An Osprey was in a tree, and while I was taking photos of it, this other Osprey came flying up and flew over my head (I ducked 'cause I thought he was going to drop the fish on me). Fantastic capture!! Lucky you to get this chance! I have been wanting a shot like this and I watched one the other day at a local lake dive bomb to catch a fish but it was too far for me to capture with the lens I have.

This has got to be about the coolest shot you ever got, Joie - freaken kewl, sez me! Sheesh - if I hadn't had my nose pointed down looking for seashells, I might have seen this and went fish! ......though I reckon this guy is the fishin' magician and I wouldn't have done near as good. That trout has to be at least 3-4lbs!
