Description
Inspired by a photo i saw as a kid, taken from the moon by an apollo astronaut.
3dsMax for the earth, Terragen for the moon, and Photoshop for the lens-flare.
And yes...the earth wouldnt be that big.....its a telephoto lens, ok??? :)

Unyon this is so cool. It reminds me of how we are all just dots on one giant ball in the middle of nowhere. Very real-looking (that's a technical term you may not have heard of before. It's used in the art industry by those who 'know'). I would like to see more like this.... Kinda gives off an earie silence and reminds me how little and insignificant I am (violins please). lol.

Cheers for the comment on that Terragen piece, thought i'd check your stuff, your Max work is good, this is great, and best of all i can see my house from here...
Blame it on the telephoto lens eh! I thought the camera never lies! :o) Two things I hate are lens-flare's and chess boards, But then again lens-flare's can look good if used in moderation and in the right place. I think this is one of those right places. Great Pic Unyon! "Airships" still remains my favourite though. P.s, where can I get Terragen?
