The Heavy Cruiser Eviscerator hangs in Orbit over the tranquil Earth. As the Vanguard of the much larger strike force waiting in Mars orbit. The Eviscerator prepares its fighters and transports for Scouting Missions to probe the Terran Defenses before commiting the full Strike Force. Forming Up the individual Scout Elements is often a chaotic time for the Corinthian Space Forces, as highly aggressive pilots often attempt to re-adjust the pecking order within thier units by forcing more senior or favored pilots to clear thier flight path, purposely crossing the senior pilots vector and risking a collision in what is called (in translation) a "Bull Run". Here we see an attack wing (3 fighter formation) making a Bull Run on it's Squadron Commanders Attack Wing when the squadron is forming up into a standard Scout Element of 3 Attack Wings and 3 Gunship Transports (two Gunships have yet to clear the hangers). The Squadron Commander, Notable only by the yellow Arrowhead-like isnignia on the roof of his cockpit, trys some aggressive diplomacy to get his overly enthusiastic 2nd Attack wing to clear his path. 'Clearing the Guns' and missing his subordinate by the smallest of measures. His experience with this Corinthian style game of "Chicken" pays off as the Attack Wing making the Bull Run scrambles madely to avoid being killed. Corinthian Fighters can more properly be considered Attack Craft. They have a crew of 5. Pilot, 2 gunners manning the two quad turrets, a Sensor/EW Operator and a Tactical Coordinator running Communications. Corinthian Fighters are large enough to even accomodate up to 6 captives or 4 passengers in addition to it's normal crew. Corinthain Fighters, Like most all of thier vessels, are equipted with Hypespace drives. They also have a massive Thrust to Weight Ratio and are often employing only a partial amount of thier independant thrusters as thier thrust needs vary. They are heavily armored and extreamly tough vessels that can stay in active service for hundreds of years before needing serious overhaul. The Dual Outboards on each pylon can swivel 360 degrees and are used as the rear landing pads. This means the Fighters are able to hover on thrust alone without the aid of thier Contra-Gravity pods assistance. Corinthians are known to employ thier outboard thrusters, pointed down while thier triple aft engines provide forward movement to burn down enemy soldiers, buildings or simply to set huge fires or drive civilians to kill zones.
