it's a gorgeous shot, katy, but what so moves me about it is the painterly feel, to my eye at least. the bluffs and clouds feel almost painted on, they have a quiet softness almost as if they had fabric in them. And even the join between the shore and the water have a feeling of being 'dreamt' into your beautiful picture, as much as actually photographed. The picture has a dream quality to it...I don't know your background, but you must've done photography for a long time to have this as your first upload. It's soft, gentle and very peaceful. A beautiful shot.
