Well I got part way through this and realised some upcoming errors so this is a cropped version. Trees are from the free Xfrog Terragen Downloads.

The 1st plan obstructs me a little in particular this fir tree alone on the rock, you could perhaps reassembled the camera which one has that the higher part of the trees, on the other hand the second plan, mountains, trees and water really are successful! Agree with Phyloxera to the point that the ground-surfaces do not really blend with the variations of trees and background.
Else a beautiful piece of art.
Background is beautiful and very realistic, however the foreground just doesn't match the quality of the background. I would do something else, perhaps cropping it entirely off.
Agree with Saurav, Maybe if you move the camera out over the water it would help. The background looks superb.
