Description

I do a lot of ecclectic research online and my travels have taken me to many different topics, from the supernatural to UFOS to just about anything. I like the mysterious, "could it be real" stories on the web. One such story talks about how there are aliens currently living on the planet and that the most vile of them are the Reptilians. There is a lot of reptile artwork done through the ages and there are still reptile symbols existing today. So that gave me some inspiration to do this little guy. My version of a Reptoid. I used the Zhaan morph and skin and melded it with the MERGE-Visible lizard skin in the material room. Than futzed around with the head morph a bit, stretched a few body part and voila, one Reptoid. I also tossed on the Marauder outfit with Motif's textures just to be PC. I like the way this character came out, so you might be seeing more of him and his bretheren. As always, thanks for looking.

You created a fantastic character! A bit too much DOF at the bottom but otherwise a wonderful and pretty cool render with great colours!

You know what, I would totally welcome seeing more of the Reptoid Nation! And love how you explained it so well. And yeah, I kinda do the same thing when I get the change to research all that I can. Totally dig that Reptoid skin and the clothing make it that more believable. Next, I plan on taking on BATBOY!

This guy reminds me of Baraka from Mortal Kombat. The background almost looks like blades attached to his arms... I like the glow. Cool Pic.

He is magnificent. Now Rich, when if ever I am able to create one like this, then I will have arrived. You have created a terrific character. It's going to be a pleasure seeing more of him.

Very nice man- a highly detailed and convincing model of what a hybrid creature like this would look like- very impressive work! The glow around him seems to be an artifact from overlaying a layer and blur to enhance tone and color - I think it works pretty well to that effect, but it is a little bit distracting around the arms and legs where it affects the background. Although it could be an effect of some sort of advanced camouflaging device that we are seeing through too right? :)
