Description

This is for durleybeachbum who very kindly let me know the name of the green bugs in his/her garden after their post today. They live here too. Unfortunately for the plants I have all sorts of bugs, including this yellow one, but butterflies too so it's worth a few chewed leaves.

This bug looks like it might eat the smaller pests, so this may be a good one to have around with your butties. Nicely captured! :o)

I do not recognize this insect either... but I would say it's a "red one, washed out" ! lol You don't like bugs in your garden, Rozanne but at least it gives you the opportunity for very nice macro shots ! smiley_098.gif

Nice macro, Rozanne. This looks like a 'beehive' beetle to me.. ;o) I was helping to prune some trees, on a steep slope, this morning and did not notice any bugs, beetles or even midges. However I was glad that someone else 'pruned' a cable hidden, on the ground level, in some rushes. Luckily it was not live. We had to splice it back together again... Regards, John.
