Description

A battle re-enactment at Kelburn Castle. The fight went on and on till only a welsh and Scottish warrior were left alive to slog it out. Eventually the huge Welsh fighter overcame the poor guy from Glasgow and the Scotsman lay dead. At which point the Scottish widow ran wailing onto the battlefield and stabbed the Welsh warrior to death! I don't know what it had to do with Vikings but there you go... Don't mess with the wummin! Thanks for viewing.

Nice image... the text sounds like a typical yearly encounter at the Arms Park, (er, I mean Millenium Stadium), or Murrayfield.

Nice story, and nice red ( plastic? ) helmet, Anthony. So they were all at Kelburn. Some of my neighbours said last week that were going down to Largs for the commemoration of the Battle of Largs 1263, but surely that's not till early October. Anyway, quite happy that we won the Battle of Paris, even if we were the underdogs as usual. ... ;o) Regards, John.
