Description
We recently had a pair of coots nest beside one of our ponds, and as they were quite used to us being around I managed to get some nice close up shots of the nest and its contents.
Even the fact that Gizmo (my pup often featured in my gallery)rushed in and grabbed an egg from the nest didn't scare them off. Don't worry, we retrieved the egg from his mouth intact and returned it to the nest none the worse for its adventure...;-)
