Description
Luncheon on the Rocks.
This small (500x500mm) Oil painting celebrates a life of hardship where a whole tree group has its existence and dines out daily on a rock ledge.
It is a part of a figures in landscape series I started 25 years ago. The first major painting I did was also themed around Monet's Dejonier sur la herbe. Take a picnic under the trees with me.
