This isn't a great picture, but I'm uploading it to show how squished the BEAUTIFUL blossoms got after the ravaging storm *L*

The white blossoms are still beautiful, even when prone. Peonies are such fabulous flowers!

I guess peonies are pretty much prone to falling they are so top heavy in full bloom. Every year I wonder if I should try hoisting them up with soft wire, and every year I don't do it L I agree Auntietk. Thank you sharky and Cosme!

Oddly enough, I was just down in Oklahoma where I met with family... many whom I had not seen in many years. Including my aunt. We got to talking about flower and I mentioned your series of shots to her. We were discussing funerals, and what kind of flowers we would like or not like. She wants Peonies on her grave. Li

The greens are very hardy, the blossom is OHHHHHH so fragrant but oh so fragile! They would come back year after year after year without having to be touched. Wise choice she has made S
