Description

I decided I wanted some intense colors for eyes, so I went and made me some LOL This is a WIP but I do have a handful of other colors that I was thinking about maybe uploading to the freebie section. So lemme know what you think! I remember someone saying something about the highlight being baked into the texture, well these are pretty easy to remove in the Materials room (as they are a seperate texture file) if its not your cup of tea. Oh yes and I rendered them with Aiko and Vicki so you could see the difference. I've never uploaded anything to the freebies so this would be my first LOL *EDIT* The other colors I have are: brown, green, pink, purple, teal and yellow. Look forward to hearing comments and suggestions! :D

The eyes look pretty but it depends on what you were trying to achieve. If you were going for realism, I think they don't look 100% real. If you were going for a dreamy kind of look, then I think they're ok.

Nice fantasy eyes :-) Maybe you can make a mat pose to turn the reflections/highlights on/off with one click? And colour choice is always good in freebies :-)

That is so nice of you to put them into the freebies. Very good choice of colors and I agree with Drifterlee they would be very pretty for fairies....Shannon ;}

One small suggestion, you might want to soften the inner ring of the pupil just a little bit, it's pretty razor sharp.

Hmm, hard to say without knowing the look you are going for. The eyewhites (might be on purpose for the look?) have no veining so its throwing me off a little toward the "anime type style eyes".

My idea was to make them more anime/fantasy style but I wanted to make sure they could still look good on Vicki. I could have added veining but most anime doesn't have that and the colors aren't really 'realistic' so I kept them as they were. I looked in the marketplace for realistic eyes and have to say, thats way beyond my abilities so far... but I see this as a first step in a long process of making my own content :P Its all good to use content made by others but I eventually would like to have my own body textures and such so I can truly say, "This is 100% my work." Does that make any sense?

It makes complete sense to me :) And these are a lovely first step to your goal.
