Today, March 12th, is my sweet friend Helen's (BluEcho) Birthday!!!!!

I sure hope you've been having a really terrific day!!!!!!!!!!
I wanted to send a really nice birthday greeting to you and thought of one of my favorite VERY spring pictures!!!
This was taken in Washington, D.C., in the spring when the cherry blossoms were blooming like crazy! Actually, they bloom more like the stark raving lunatics of the flowering tree world!!! One of the "must see" events that everyone should experience at least once is the cherry trees in bloom in Washington! They are everywhere and to use the word "gorgeous" to describe them just shows the limitations of the English language!!!
Helen lives in St. Louis, Missouri, and has seen a lot more than her share of winter this year! If you'll recall, they had a "bit" of an ice storm!!!!!! YIKES!!!
So I figured that maybe she'd enjoy a picture of our coming spring!! And perhaps a lot of folks that have seen plenty of winter might enjoy it, too!!!

So gorgeous blossoms! Gorgeous indeed is a week word for this abundance of beauty! Washington? I've been there only twice and in unbaearable hot summers. Must try spring next time!
