coming along nicely... The landing gear looks familiar - from a P38 maybe?
Very nice start! The gear legs aren't correct though. The 17 has kind of V shaped gear legs and no main gear doors. The bottoms of the tire protrude when the gear is up. I look forward to seeing the finished product!
