Quietly I stand
And watch the sun
Rise up from out of the sea.
Making me wonder
What has happened to me.
So forlorn.
Hard to carry on.
Now you've gone.
And now
That I must face
This world all alone
No one to care for,
Or call my own.
You were mine
For all of time

What I'd give
To have you back

Safe from all harm
Loving and warm.

Salt laden tears

who is the world to me.

As always your poetry is beautiful...yet I found this on the sad side as well Hope all has been well with you...on a sad note...My cancer has spread to my spine and ribs...the prognosis is not good....no surgery I am trying to think positive and get through each day... So glad I ran across you...This is going to a fav..and I got some new ones up at out other site on AP so come over there when ya get a chance... Give me a IM here on this site...Okay...
