Description
I thought these couple of pictures might be of interest. We had very high winds yesterday and as a result this huge conifer came crashing down.
As luck would have it nothing else was damaged as the tree narrowly missed next doors greenhouse.
I apologise as they are not the best photos, but the batteries in my camera let me down in the middle of taking the snaps (isn't it always the way...lol)
It just serves to remind us of the awesome power of nature.

Great capture, for a tree that size I'm surprised the roots aren't bigger, when I pulled the conifers (3) out of the garden in front of the house the roots were huge & went forever. Your next door neighbour has a fantastic looking greenhouse Stuart
