Description

Man. It's been a long time since I've uploaded anything. I've been up to a lot, but just nothing upload worthy, I suppose. This is part of what I've been working on, recently. It was supposed to be a menacing mass of mechanical monsters, but instead they looked like a boyband posing. So now they are. Serves them right, I suppose. If you want a better picture of just the robot by itself, http://www.robotsoup.com/random/wilkapunk/index.htm Created and rendered in Blender, composited in Photoshop.

Looks good! - I`ve just finished watching Terminator III on TV - They kinda remind me of the robots in the film - only thing missing are the gatling guns! Hats off once again to Mr Dodobird!

Ian, I've been looking through your images and they are all extremely impressive! It's rare to see images which such realism and detail. I also think it's cool you are using Blender -- it's an amazing program, I wish I had more time to work with it.

Excellent textures. Looks like a great model, but hard to distinguish in this pic. Excellent Blender modeling--not the easiest program to master. Off to check out the link now.

A menacing mass of mechanical monsters turned into a boyband;) What a degradation! Poor monsters... Just imagine Vader playing the percussion:P Great robo work! It seems to be a farewell tour... before major servicing:) Their wear-and-tear alpha maps look great. Looking fwd for next works!

These seem curious, at the least, if not entirely benign. A bit like a berserker boarding party...
