OK, here's another go at it. I was happy with the results of the 1st version, but due to bandwidth considerations, I had to compromise between file size and detail. With the original I wanted to show a smoother transition, like a morphing effect. Version 2 shows the four stages of the metamorphosis without transition frames. The overall dimensions are much larger now, and the frame delay time is 10 seconds each.
BTW, I chose not to post each stage to my gallery seperately, as there wasn't really much work on my part in creating the renders; it's just a couple of MAT/morph applications. Since my contribution here is the composition (which requires keeping the renders together), I could hardly justify posting them in my own gallery otherwise.

Wow! I love it! A great flow from one frame to the next, giving us time to look at each one and appreciate the details before it changes. Great use of the cyborg character mats in the sequence, and a awesome transformation scene. Really impressive ^^
