Description
This is a face study in 3d I modeled and textured in 3dsmax (via Mental Ray). Took just an day to create. My second attempt at face modeling consisting of 50000 + - polys (not including the hair). Hair was created using Hair and Fur effects in 3dsmax.

Rob, u must be using 3dsMax 8-. Check out version 9's hair application. works MUCH better and in-perspective window, no less! the sad thing about the hair in Max before version 9 is that hair always looked like strands of plastic(see my "Sun Salutation" image and your own for examples). Great work. Dont forget to texture this head with some displacement mapping.
