Description

Sigma 105mm EX DG. Post in Photoshop. Whilst taking shots of butterflies at the butterfly park i got distracted by the passionflower frond thingeys and took this shot. (stay tuned for more butterfly shots or just go to my online gallery to check them out if you cant be bothered to wait for me to upload them at 1 per day) Thanks for taking a look, Enjoy

Yes, these curls belong to the Passiflora, my favorite flower... In Nov.2005, I also included such a shot in my series (see HERE !) but yours is really better... the DOF is just amazing ! Excellent work, Rich ! :~)

I too have gotten distracted by the spirals on vines before. I have a file of nothing but vine spirals from my gourd vines. Each one so different and sometimes, like this, one is particularly photogenic... :-) Nice capture.
