I like the colors too! Suggestion: when setting up a pose like this, you might try first setting V3's Limits on temporarily (Figure/Use Limits). While I find Limits can be sometimes be, uh, too limiting because they are pretty rigid limits, they can help to make sure that at least no joints are posed awkwardly. Then, for fine-tuning, you can turn limits off and make some futherer tweaks, maybe to get more rotation than limits allows. But at least you'll be starting from a "legal" pose.
