Description

We recently had to power wash our deck so it could be restained and sealed from the weather but, before all nature was destroyed, I had to capture this fungus on camera. It sprung from the cracks of the boards, bursting forth with a life all of its own. At first glance it was just a few very small dots of something orange but, upon closer examination and through the miracle of macro, it was beauty to behold. Alas, it is gone now but its likeness has been captured to help remind me that there is beauty in all things.
