Description
Another creature that passed through my life. I was supposed to be swatting flies but wound up using the swatter as a prop for encouraging the grasshopper to pose for me. I just love the thrill of achieving something so close up, as the outcome provides a whole different perspective on things, beyond what we might normally see in our hurried, everyday passing. Just look at the intricacy and colors with which God has designed this creature. It's amazing to me that something so common is actually so beautiful when I take time to really stop and look.

Excellent macro - my thoughts too on seeing tiny creatures close some are so beautiful with colours and patterns hardly visible to our eyes till we photograph them and have a chance to take a good close look.
