Description

In the image are secrets. I chose to model certain areas as if they have alloy webs and steel tube flanges in the sense of I-beam analysis. But we know they are not welded, nor even weldable with mixed metals, so how is shear load transferred? My first impression on seeing photographs was that area was alloy stampings open on the unseen side. The artists I comment know that I alwys spot the areas that are neither painterly nor artistic if they exist in an image. I used to refer to these as "malaprops" not in the sense that the artist was making errors but in the sense the software either did not accomodate or made clumsey that particular location or view. We know from texts that Hawker designs used square ended tubes, something pointed out to me tactically as "square turns", as differentiated from "corner turns" in the use of vectored thrust. So I wonder to what extent the overlay of wood and alloy and steel structures is reactive and not just overdefined and thus virtual. This is where Booleans fail and where welding is prohibited not just for producability in the Empire. So as you look at it smile a bit as you realize my master was interested in executive jets and not fighters. Under no circumstance would launching a rocket or missile from the structure be acceptable. Nor would guns or bombs be accomodated as hard points of focus to pickup the BSA keyword whre America did have influence in the design through Browning. Think of a scupture carved by collaboration chisels until only the individual contribution is left.

Looks like you're really going for the detail on this one judging by the work on the fuselage. Just reading a book about the exploits of a hurricane pilot who saw service in North Africa, Burma and Malaya. Look forward to seeing it finished :-)
