Everywhere people with camera's find their way in this world to make their shots. I like the art of taking realistic pictures, because it provides a way to show how I experience this world. It is a way for other people to look through my eyes.Nature ... exists primarily for her face, her look, her appeals to the heart and the imaginationGeorge MacDonaldJan-Carel Vierbergen
Picture courtesy of Ruut WegmanBIOIt is all in the family: love for hiking in the nature. Since my childhood I'm used to walk with father, brothers, cousins, etc., and take pictures (Minolta X-700 with 28-70 mm and 100-300 mm zoom) of what I see. I grew up in Ede (The Netherlands), studied Electrical Engineering in Eindhoven and I am working now as Coordinator e-learning at the Christelijke Hogeschool Ede (http://www.che.nl) where I implement digital assessments for students and assist students in DTP and creating websites.
Since I know little about photographing as well as computer science it was not difficult to find ways for putting images on the web. The only thing to look for now is to find ways for showing the slides in a convenient way. I tried already something at http://www.che.nl/users/jcv (Dutch only, click at Dia's van de natuur in Nederland en de Alpen), but this platform provides good means to share my pictures with others.
I hope you enjoy this!

Splendid work Jan! Have an astronomically cosmic day buddy!
Damn, and I spend all my time with my camera trying to stop the stars from bloody moving. Nice one
what ? Nostalgia ? no ! it's real fun - like on carrousel at crazy night - Wonderful for me !
Looks fun! Like the whole sky is full of shooting stars :)
What! but this shot is blurred! am i not funny Jan Carel? interesting experience. Have a great weekend!
Nostalgia indeed - I havn't done this shot for years & years :) - Nice capture here with a god blue background. Much better on film than on digital this shot the point sources of light burn out far too quick on digital.
This is absolutely fascinating, i'm impressed. Fantastic idea and very interesting photo!!!
Beautiful star trails!
Wooooow! Never seen something like this before!!!!It's very fascinating!!!!
Agree about this shot being fascinating. I never thought about this kind of exposure, thanks for the lesson and the fantastic photo!
Beautiful shot Jan-Carel. Interesting indeed. Hugs.
Immanuel Kant brachte zum Ausdruck, dass aur dem moralischen Gesetz im Menschen "der gestirnte Himmel er mir..." ihn immer aufs Neue mit Bewunderung erflen wde. Fantastic shot!

Awesome capture, very interesting!!! Bravo and have a good day :)
Very nicely executed in your demonstration, but is that with a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation?[]/;^)
I like this. it looks cool! Well done! :)
I like the geometric aspect and the effect
Very cool shot, Jan-Carel. I love the way it shows the different colors of the stars. Well done.
:-))
:) this shot is sooo cool, excellently done!!!!
I like that Ci With this blue sky These stars which slip by at any speed ***** ((V))
Nice idea, Jan-Carel. I do not think that it would work in Glasgow. It never seems to be dry for 30 minutes at a time ( unless we have had a lot of snow ). I do not think that a little digital camera could do that anyway, even these days. Regards, John.
Again really lovely , the blue background is great!
Another shot of space with moving objects because of a extenden shutter speed ? I love it !
I am in total and utter awe. That is too damn cool.
Copernicus was right!
Anything to itself, what magnificent photo.
