Description

The first in my "Garden Faerie Series" (this decision is based on requests from stock artists so that I keep the "Flower Faerie Series" using Poser models separate, I created the "Garden Faerie Series" for stock models). The rose is the symbol of transience, of spring and beauty, of completion and perfection. It is a symbol of love and a metamorphosis of passion. (~author unknown~ - if anyone knows, please let me know so I can cite accordingly). Credits: Flaviacabral @ deviantart for the beautiful model (deviation/27251394 -used with permission). jaguarwoman for the floribunda roses (I think that is the rose category they belong to, but if anyone knows differently, please let me know, if you don't "use it, you lose it" kind of thing); background was given to me by a friend, manipulated and airbrushed in Photoshop. Beautiful. What a lovely way to view a rose. I love the colouring and this is a wonderful series. I hope you enter the April Showers competition as I'd love to see what you come up with. Thanks for sharing.
