i never do colors. i thaught i might try. success i think. the second one was photoshoped and merged with another rendering. i couldnt decide which is better. please tell me which you think is better.

If you've used the "Yafray" engine to do this, your settings are wrong! Hint: check your lighting - photon light.

Nice experiment! The top one looks a little more natural. The sphere seems a little too reflective, it's strange that so much light is reflecting and yet a lot is also going through it.

I think I like the bottom one better, it has more contrast, but the top one may look a little more natural. You are getting good with Yafray, keep up the good work. I was wondering if that is the photon map we can see on the walls and stuff?

its not the photon map, its just the lack of refinement and low amounts of photons. i sometimes work an a very old laptop
