Mamshit is an ancient Nabatean outpost in the northern part of the Negev desert in Israel. It was built in the late Roman period by the Nabateans - a nomad tribe that lived on the trade route from India and Arabia to the eastern Mediterranean. The spirit of this trade route is revived every spring, as you can see here.
