Description

This is another Photoshop job, and was really fun to do. I felt my 3D/2D hybrid style was starting to get too clinical and this was like a breath of fresh air to work on. I guess I could have been a bit more imaginative with the title, but when I completed the image, I just thought to myself "Call a log a log, a rock a rock, a sea beast...." Thanks for looking. :)

Hello, very cool idea, boat, movement and light !! Is it possible to add one or two tiny sailors on or off the deck ? 8) It's because imho there is a doubt with the scale, the planks and the hatch are big while the stern elements are small... they're two different to be explained by the perspective...

Yeah, I see what you mean. There is actually a couple of small figures (in crimson) on the stern and climbing the ladders. It may have been better giving them bright yellow rainmacs.....hhmmm...

He's got five eyes? Great peripheral vision. Something else that catches my eye regarding relative scale is the size of the water droplets. At this distance, it might almost be a thin sheet or fine mist. Tremendous work... as always, mate.
