Description

Poser 6, Vue Inf, GIMP 2 Somebody is hunting Rebecca. But he doesn't know that a much greater horror is residing here. And it is already on his trail... This image was a lot of work. I spend a lot of time adding little details (like the critters and signs) and trying to get the radioactive liquid look right (radioactive materials emit a cold blue light in water). I rendered the image in a higher resolution than this picture, so details are maybe not so visible anymore... Due to vue's problem with large texture maps I had to render small parts of the picture and put them together afterwards in GIMP. Alpha (the monster) by SanctumArt. Battle armor for M3 from DAZ (marauder). Bird-eating spider by Noggins (DAZ). Skin texture enhanced with SkinVue. The water is a wavemaped terrain from SeaVue. Thanks everybody for looking! Wow, one of the best I've seen. Good dramatic setup, one-two punch with the subtle alien blending into the background, and yet, not. Great textures all around and very nicely underwater lighting, great bullet holes. And if that wasn't bad enough, there's a spider loose!!
