Hi all, Went to the Matamata races yesterday........ Was my first time at some real action shots. This is from the 3rd race but was the second we were there for (missed first race). Should be more to come! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for comments.

I used to own an ex-racehorse that I taught to jump. her name was Holly. She was a chestnut - which is a red color. Just a wonderful horse. Great shot!

Excellent action shot ... not easy getting the timing right. Used to go to the races alot with my family when growing up ... not to Matamata though. BTW the Simon Sez in the forum at the moment is an 'action shot' if you're interested.
