just so you know, there's a Linux version of Wings 3d, if you want to try it out..
WHY is this in the 3D Modeling gallery exactly?
I wish they would make Linux version of Poser. There is a Mac version and OSx is just a gussied up version of BSD. Maybe with Macs going Intel I'll get my long awaited wish :)
